Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to analyze business and system requirements, evaluate existing systems, and work with business and technical teams to develop effective technology solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, system requirements, and operational needs to identify appropriate technology solutions.
• Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and automation.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Work closely with business, product, engineering, IT, and other technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
• Analyze system workflows, data flows, integrations, and dependencies across applications.
• Develop process flows, functional specifications, use cases, and other system documentation.
• Identify system gaps, issues, and potential risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Support system design, development, testing, implementation, and enhancement activities.
• Review proposed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and system objectives.
• Support testing activities, including test planning, validation, defect identification, and resolution.
• Analyze system issues and work with technical teams to determine root causes and appropriate resolutions.
• Assist with system integration requirements and validate data exchanged between applications.
• Support production issues and provide analysis to help resolve system-related problems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system requirements, processes, configurations, and changes.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, requirement workshops, reviews, and solution discussions.
• Track requirements, decisions, dependencies, and action items throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, efficiency, reliability, and user experience.

• Strong experience in Business Systems Analysis / System Analysis.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of business processes, system workflows, and application dependencies.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating requirements.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and interfaces.
• Experience creating process flows, functional specifications, use cases, and system documentation.
• Experience supporting software development, testing, implementation, and system enhancement activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to identify system gaps, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Experience working in fast-paced and complex technology environments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
