Role: UI Developer – Advanced

Working Location: Canada / Plano, TX

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 3 Months

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced UI Developer to design and develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies, UI/UX design principles, and development tools.

The role requires proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, and design tools such as Figma and FlyWheel.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
  • Build reusable and maintainable UI components using React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, and Vite.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
  • Convert UI/UX designs and prototypes into functional web interfaces.
  • Work with Figma and FlyWheel to understand and implement design requirements.
  • Ensure consistency between design specifications and the final user interface.
  • Develop responsive layouts that provide a consistent experience across different devices and screen sizes.
  • Follow UI/UX best practices to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Use Git for source code management and maintain organized development workflows.
  • Manage project dependencies and packages using npm or yarn.
  • Use Webpack for development and application build processes.
  • Follow coding standards and maintain code quality using ESLint and Prettier.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to implement UI requirements and resolve technical challenges.
  • Ensure frontend code is optimized, maintainable, and aligned with project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Programming Languages

  • Strong proficiency in HTML5.
  • Strong proficiency in CSS3.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript.

Frontend Frameworks

Hands-on experience with:

  • React
  • Angular
  • Vue
  • Next.js
  • Vite

UI/UX & Design

  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Figma is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with FlyWheel is mandatory.
  • Ability to translate design concepts and prototypes into functional interfaces.
  • Understanding of responsive and user-friendly web design.

Development & Tooling

  • Strong experience with Git for version control.
  • Experience with npm/yarn for package and dependency management.
  • Working knowledge of Webpack.
  • Experience using ESLint for code quality and standards.
  • Experience using Prettier for code formatting and consistency.
