Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) Consultant with 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) and hands-on exposure to the broader SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) suite. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of subscription and contract-based services, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of billing, invoicing, and revenue streams across complex service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) to manage subscription products, modelling, subscription lifecycle, and service provisioning, order capture, and orchestration processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage customer subscriptions, usage-based billing, contracts, and recurring revenue models.
- Handle subscription lifecycle activities including order creation, changes, cancellations, renewals, and amendments.
- Support quote-to-cash processes and ensure seamless data flow between SAP SOM and other systems.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP SOM configurations.
- Manage data consistency and business rules for subscription contracts and related billing processes.
- Conduct system testing, support UAT, and provide post-implementation support.
- Document system configurations, process flows, and provide end-user training as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Working knowledge of SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) and its integration with other BRIM modules.
- Good understanding of SAP BRIM architecture including SAP Convergent Charging (CC), FI-CA, and SAP CM.
- Experience in integration scenarios between SOM, CI, and backend ERP systems.
- Good understanding of B2B and B2C subscription business models.
- Familiarity with subscription lifecycle management and product catalogue modelling.
- Understanding of integration techniques (e.g., IDocs, APIs, web services).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA BRIM environments.
- Experience in industries like telecom, utilities, or digital subscriptions.
- SAP BRIM or SOM module certification.
- Familiarity with CPQ systems or CRM integrations (e.g., SAP Sales Cloud).
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- SAP-related certifications or BRIM training is a plus.
