Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipeline development. The role focuses on automating cloud deployments, managing containerized workloads, and improving the performance, reliability, and security of cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud monitoring solutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

  • Automate and manage cloud infrastructure deployments using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud resources.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to improve deployment consistency and efficiency.
  • Optimize cloud-native infrastructure for scalability, performance, and reliability.

CI/CD Pipeline Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Automate build, testing, and deployment processes for microservices and containerized applications.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery across development environments.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery.

Containerization & Orchestration

  • Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Support microservices-based architectures and cloud-native applications.
  • Troubleshoot container deployment, configuration, and infrastructure issues.
  • Improve application deployment efficiency and operational stability.

Monitoring & Observability

  • Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and observability solutions.
  • Configure and maintain Azure Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure and application performance.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure performance and reliability issues.

Scripting & Version Control

  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
  • Manage source code and infrastructure configurations using Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Automate repetitive infrastructure management and deployment tasks.
  • Support version control standards and collaborative development practices.

Security & Governance

  • Implement cloud governance and security best practices.
  • Support secure infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Ensure deployment processes follow established operational and security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve DevOps processes and delivery quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Expertise in infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerized workloads.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with Git-based version control systems, including GitHub or GitLab.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Familiarity with Azure Databricks.
  • Understanding of cloud governance, security best practices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, and operations teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
