Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to take ownership of complex cloud platform challenges, driving security hardening, cost optimization, and GitOps governance. This role requires hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to architectural decisions across multi-cloud environments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and manage advanced Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GCP), including networking, RBAC, and multi-tenancy.
- Lead cloud security hardening initiatives, including network policies, secret management, image scanning, and compliance automation.
- Identify and implement cloud and Kubernetes cost optimization strategies, including rightsizing, spot instances, and cluster autoscaling.
- Architect and manage GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or FluxCD with policy enforcement.
- Provision and manage cloud resources using Terraform and Crossplane for advanced multi-cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with a focus on DevSecOps integration and pipeline reliability.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks and operational runbooks using Python and Shell scripting.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams to define platform standards and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and conduct code and infrastructure reviews.
