Role: Amdocs CSM PowerBuilder Developer

Working Location: Pune / Gurgaon

Employment Type: Full-time 

Experience: 4 – 7 years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Amdocs CSM PowerBuilder Developer with strong expertise in telecom customer service and CRM systems. The role involves developing, customizing, and supporting Amdocs CSM applications using PowerBuilder, ensuring efficient handling of customer lifecycle and service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications in Amdocs CSM (Customer Service Management) using PowerBuilder
  • Customize and enhance CSM modules such as customer data, order management, and service requests
  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical design and solutions
  • Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and deployment
  • Support telecom CRM operations and customer lifecycle workflows
  • Integrate CSM with billing, provisioning, and third-party systems
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 support
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning
  • Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in PowerBuilder development
  • Proven experience working with Amdocs CSM platform
  • Good understanding of telecom domain (CRM, Order Management, Customer Lifecycle)
  • Expertise in SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL
  • Experience with Unix/Linux environments
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Amdocs CRM / OMS / Billing integrations
  • Knowledge of Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs)
  • Exposure to Java or middleware technologies
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Production support and incident management experience

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced telecom environment
  • Good problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Team collaboration and ownership mindset

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
